Y 12 English:
You should be reading your first book for your Wide Reading Unit Standard Level 2. Remember you must have your 1st log handed in by the end of Week 5.ie 9 March. The details about what to write are in the hand-outs I gave you. You ALL have them.
Y12 Classics
You should read Book 1 of the Odyssey for class on Mon 26 Feb. You can, of course, read more than that.
Y13 Classics
You should be reading Book 1 of the Aeneid and answering the questions on your worksheet. Pace yourself. Book 1 should be read and the questions done by the end of next week ie 2 March.

Welcome back
Y12 English: You have a piece of Creative Writing to hand in as a final copy on Mon 19th Feb.
You should also have started reading your first of the nine books for Wide Reading level 2 - you are aiming at reading 1 book every 3 weeks if you are to meet the deadline comfortably.
Y12 Classics: You have a list of gods and goddesses to learn. Make sure you can spell their names and know the role /s they have.
Y13 Classics: You have a list of names of gods and goddesses to memorise. You need to know both the Greek and Roman names and how to spell them. Next week we are looking at the stories of the Trojan War. You could search the net for some stories.
